Benefits of Serrapeptase and Nattokinase for Fibroids
Serrapeptase and Nattokinase can clear inflammation and scar tissue, fibroids are scar tissue (excess fibrin) pockets of oestrogen and smooth muscle tissue. In this article, we’ll answer the question, What are fibroids and can Serrapeptase help?
To some fibroids are somewhat of a mystery, there are several ways to reduce or get rid of fibroids altogether, the options to reduce fibroids are a hysterectomy or a plan that includes lifestyle changes, dietary changes along with this wonderful proteolytic enzyme Serrapeptase. This approach is a more holistic way to reduce or get rid of fibroids altogether.
What is Fibroids?
Fibroids and hormones
Did you know that 20-30 % of women under the age of 40 will have fibroids and over 40% will develop fibroids before the onset of menopause? Remember that fibroids are non-cancerous tumours and are benign, they form when excess scar tissue gathers together with smooth muscle tissue and in general pockets of estrogen.
Fibroids can vary in size and are usually located within the uterine wall or cavity, they can be very small or weigh several pounds. Fibroids can be as small as a seed or as big as grapefruit.
Are there symptoms of Fibroids?
In about 75% of cases, women aren’t aware that they have fibroids because they don’t have any symptoms, however in the other 25% of cases common symptoms will be heavy menstrual bleeding accompanied by large clots.
When you have regular cycles of heavy menstrual bleeding anaemia may develop (low red blood cells) depending on the size of the fibroids pressure may be exerted on the bladder, the bowels, and sensitive pelvic nerves. This bladder pressure can lead to a range of symptoms like
• Frequent urination
• Low back pain
• Constipation
• Pelvic pain
• Irritable bowel
Doctors regularly perform a hysterectomy it is the number one treatment by the medical profession however there are several natural more effective methods that can reduce or get rid of fibroids without surgery.
The primary cause of fibroids
Fibroids are primarily caused by a hormonal imbalance because of too much oestrogen and not enough progesterone, fibroids depend on hormones and thrive on oestrogen.
Too much oestrogen can be linked to fertility drugs, the contraceptive pill, or hormone replacement therapy, other factors contribute like liver congestion, bowel toxicity, inflammation, hypothyroidism, or exposure to environmental oestrogens.
Stress can play a part in too much oestrogen especially emotional conflicts, reproductive arguments or relationship issues.
Restoring balance
Crucial balance can be restored to the system by adding progesterone, which is available in a bio-identical source like transdermal natural cream this can help to restore balance by taking the recommended dosage of one eight to one half of a teaspoon rubbed on ( am & pm) the soft tissue of the abdomen, inner arms, inner thighs normally from the 13th day of the menstrual cycle to the 26th day.
Chas tree berry
Studies have shown that 140-275 mg daily of the Chas tree berry herb can increase progesterone levels but it takes time, anywhere from 3–4 months before improvements can be experienced.
Foods that create excess oestrogen
In general, it’s best to avoid foods that create excess oestrogen they are
• Processed foods
• Dairy products
• Refined carbohydrates
• Alcohol
• Coffee
• Unfermented soy products
Environmental oestrogens
Environmental oestrogens can be present in personal care products and cosmetics, plastics, household cleaning products, and in all forms of pesticides. Try to use products free from chemicals.
Diagnosis
Should you have any of these symptoms, unusually heavy or painful periods, incontinence issues, pelvic pain or you have found it difficult to conceive then it is easy enough to diagnose uterine fibroids using an ultrasound, most experienced GPs can tell if you have fibroids by feeling them with their hands.
Treatment
Depending on how big the fibroids are treatments will vary, for example, if the fibroid is four centimetres in diameter a natural treatment can be quite effective, however, if they are between 4-8 centimetres they can be treated naturally but it can take a bit longer to work.
For anything larger than 8 centimetres generally natural treatments won’t work so a uterine artery embolization would be the preferred treatment.
This is a simple surgical procedure that prevents the blood supply from going to the fibroid, which will cause it to shrink, at that point natural methods can then be used to avoid heavy menstrual bleeding, bladder dysfunction, pelvic pain and difficulty conceiving.
Conventional Therapy
Another conventional therapy is the use of aromatase drugs, which cause aromatization and disrupt the process where testosterone is turned into oestrogen, however drugs like Arimidex do work effectively but they are not without side effects such as doing nothing for heavy uterine bleeding and they are known to promote ovarian cysts.
Your liver and fibroids
Your liver is important for balancing your hormones, it deactivates oestrogen before it is released from the body, however, if you have problems with your liver or liver congestion the levels of oestrogen will rise causing aggravating fibroid growth.
To get over this problem it is best to use a Vitamin b complex (100mg) to provide support for your liver and help it to break down oestrogen. To help with the heavy bleeding and to normalize oestrogen levels use Vitamin e (600 mg).
Metabolize oestrogen
You could try eating vegetables that contain Indole_3-carbine which has a strong effect on your liver’s ability to efficiently metabolize oestrogen, and try to eat foods that are cruciferous vegetables like Brussels sprouts, Broccoli, Cabbage, Cauliflower, or Kale.
Eat as much fruit and vegetables as possible because or you could add the supplement Calcium D- gluconate 150-300mg each day because it can also clear oestrogen and xenon oestrogen out of your body.
Liver support
Liver support and liver cleansing can be achieved by using herbs such as milk thistle, goldenseal, dandelion, blueberry, or artichoke, b compound vitamins such as inositol, methionine, and choline are efficient at cleansing the liver.
When oestrogen is released into the small and larger intestines it could be reabsorbed back into the body when the intestines aren’t functioning properly, constipation and slow transit timings increase the levels of oestrogen so take in more fibre and drink plenty of water along with bowel cleansing herbs to help with oestrogen elimination.
Exercise for fibroids
I can’t stress enough how good regular exercise is to help you in reducing those uterine fibroids, not only that regular exercise releases endorphins that are good for your overall well-being.
Serrapeptase and Nattokinase for fibroids
Serrapeptase a proteolytic enzyme has been used in Europe and Asia for more than 30 years, the United States have embraced this wonderful enzyme since the middle of the nineties. Serrapeptase is a powerful anti-inflammatory and pain reliever when taken up to three times a day, it can also dissolve dead tissue without causing any harm to live tissue.
Serrapeptase works efficiently for uterine fibroids by targeting any dead tissue in the body including scar tissue or fibroids, it works by breaking down the cells that make the fibroids grow. Serrapeptase is one of the families of systemic enzymes.
Systemic enzymes play a pivotal role in keeping inflammation under control and regulating fibrin, it also signals the body when the time is right to stop making fibrin, Serrapeptase’s strongest asset is its ability to eliminate excess fibrin that isn’t needed in the body.
Body enzymes
The enzymes produced by our bodies are critical to our overall health because they are responsible for how well our bodies deal with disease and infection, carry out repairs to damaged tissue and sustain all of the functions that our bodies have to do.
If there is a deficit of systemic enzymes problems will surface with digestion, scar tissue and fibrin will form, and issues with blood coagulation, respiration, the reproductive system and the immune system.
Systemic enzymes are also called proteolytic enzymes, a proteolytic enzyme has the properties to dissolve or eat proteins that are unwanted or are causing pain or inflammation.
Serrapeptase for Fibroids
Fibroids are an excess of scar tissue, Serrapeptase is a natural way to dissolve those troublesome fibroids and give you much-needed relief from the symptoms. Serrapeptase is particularly effective at reducing any inflammation associated with fibroids, keep a 120,000 IU bottle of Serrapeptase at your bedside.
Serrapeptase dose
Start by taking one Serrapeptase three times a day on an empty stomach with a glass of water, start slowly which gives your body time to adjust and allows the enzyme to do its job effectively. Do this for the first week and see how you feel, if you have any side effects Serrapeptase may not be the answer for you.
You can up the dose to two or three times per day if you aren’t getting the results that you desire. If you would like to read about other women’s experiences with Serrapeptase and fibroids this page will be of interest to you.
Acupuncture
In some cases acupuncture may help as an alternative to surgery, it may help to slow down the heavy bleeding and reduce pelvic pain and pressure on the bladder. Acupuncture for fibroids will only work when combining it with a vegetarian type diet and a minimum of 5,000 IU a day of Vitamin D3 and vitamin A.
Studies have shown both A and D to be of benefit in reducing fibroids.
Advice
Always check with your doctor before beginning any alternative method to shrink uterine fibroids.
Warning
Serrapeptase is not to be taken if pregnant, breastfeeding, having stomach ulcers or taking aspirin warfarin.
Can fibroids be prevented?
Fibroids happen to a large percentage of women, but is it possible to prevent them from happening? All of the research seems to point towards diet and exercise, as mentioned in the Human reproduction update a diet rich in fruit and vegetables may be a good habit to get into to reduce the incidence and size of fibroids.
The publication also mentions the use of caffeine being associated with fibroids however they do mention that catches in green tea are of benefit because they seem to clear excess hormones from the body.
Thyroid
One last thing to consider is if you have too much oestrogen it could be related to a thyroid problem, classic symptoms to look for are constipation, heavy periods, a lack of energy and feeling cold constantly.
By adding a quarter teaspoon of pulverized kelp to your diet could help if you believe you have a thyroid problem.
If you don’t see results within the first month or so it might be a good idea to visit a naturopath doctor who can conduct a holistic approach to endocrine malfunction and recommend a specific program that incorporates diet, exercise and natural-focused remedies.

Fibroids is a very dangerous health issues that affects most women, I’ve been aware of this for a very long time but not to the extent. Motherhood is really thing of commitment and it’s stressful, you take care of yourself and still take care of the kids. Thanks for sharing this detailed information, most people don’t know of the symptoms, now they’ll know. Its thoughtful of you to share.
Hi Henderson,
Glad to be of service, yes I have written an extensive post on Serrapeptase pros and cons here.
thanks

Being a lady isn’t an easy thing and first I want to commend every female out there who may be suffering for fibroid, we all will be all right. This post should be made to go round to help educate all about these things which most of us have little knowledge of. Truly the symptoms of fibroid may not be very obvious in some people, but here, I will advice women to be observant off changes in their menstrual flow and see se doctor should any thing be uncertain about it. Beat regards
This is actually the first time I’m reading so much about fibroids and it’s symptoms. Aside fibroids, there are many other diseases that are worrying people without them knowing the symptoms, articles like this is what we need to remind us and make some of these things aware to us. It’s good to know about the prevention of fibroids and how to shrink fibroids if they are causing inflammation, pain and other symptoms.
Things one very wide and interesting post you have here. From what i understand here, is is that fibroid inn female occurs naturally as a result of a estrogen in them? What about those women whose body naturally will produce this hormone die to the fact that they are naturally sexually active? Hope to get a reply from you?
I have a friend who has fibroid but I needed to learn about it because as I have learnt, It can happen to anyone and one needs to be very careful about it as well. Your post has really done the needful and it has also explained a bit about serrapeptase. I think I would need to make a research on that. Do you have another post on the pros and cons of Serrapeptase?
